That depends on many factors, mainly what you are hoping to achieve by working with me.
My aim is to see you reach your goals within a short time frame, while giving you the tools to manage challenges without regular sessions.
Once I know more about you, I can recommend the service/s and duration that might work best for you. I may ask you to commit to multiple sessions, depending on the work we need to do.
Some people have fewer sessions, and some have more. It depends on the outcomes you’re seeking and the progress we’re able to make.
We will discuss this in our initial phone consultation.
I will recommend the best-fit therapy for you based on many factors, including what you hope to achieve by working with me.
Let’s chat to make sure. I offer my services to people who are ready to do the work needed to make lasting change. Clinical Hypnotherapy/ Psychotherapy work best when you really want to create change.
You need to whole-heartedly want a result and be committed to actively participating in your session/s. You need to be open to change, prepared to do any homework tasks I set for you (they’re not hard) and ready to stick to regular sessions for the duration of our work together. If you’re ready to commit to change, then I’m ready to work with you to make it happen.
Clinical hypnotherapy is a safe and effective therapy when provided by a qualified and accredited practitioner (like me). It’s free of medication and side effects.
I don’t recommend hypnosis if you have a mental health diagnosis. But if you’re seeking to manage stress, anxiety, burnout, relationship issues or addictions, hypnosis could be a great option for you.
Forget the ‘stage hypnotists’ you’ve seen on TV. They aren’t clinically qualified; they are purely entertainers. As a trained hypnotherapist, I combine calm conversation in a tranquil environment to help you reach a ‘trance’ state. You stay aware and in control the whole time. Trance is a natural state where your focus is more inward and your subconscious mind becomes more open to change. It’s an opportunity to tap into your inner strengths to help you achieve lasting change.
Breathwork
Functional Breathwork is practical and educational. You’ll learn how your body currently breathes and helps you improve your everyday breathing patterns, reduce stress, and support long-term wellbeing. You will be guided through a breath flow experience, and you’ll leave with simple tools to use daily.
Transformational Breathwork is a deeper, immersive experience using a structured progressive approach that guides clients through grounding, activation, release and integration.
Breath techniques are active & powerful, and the use of extended breath holds are included and optional. Breathing is either nasal or through the mouth depending on the level of intensity required.
Clients may experience sensations such as tingling, shaking, involuntary muscle contractions, spasms and stiffness)
The main purpose of transformation breathwork is to achieve profound shifts/emotional release and inner clarity.
When choosing breathwork consider your purpose either relaxation, performance or transformation.
If you’re new to breathwork, or want help with stress, anxiety, shallow breathing, or fatigue, start with Functional Breathwork Assessment & Flow.
If you’re seeking emotional release, insight, or a deeper inner journey or you’ve done breathwork before, choose Transformational Breathwork.
Safety is our priority. All sessions are trauma informed and supportive.
Sessions are done lying down or seated comfortably but not all techniques are suitable for all people.
You must complete our intake form before your session to ensure breathwork is suitable for you. On some occasions you may be advised not to participate in the breath holds and or you may require a medical clearance.
Most people feel relaxed, grounded, lighter, clearer, or more connected in their body. You’ll have time to integrate before leaving the studio feeling whole and complete.
Wear comfortable clothing and bring a bottle of water.
Mats, blankets, and supports are provided. Journals are optional.
Breathwork sessions are held at the Everlasting Wellness Highton Home Studio
